Atty. Romela Bengzon

 

Romela M. Bengzon is admitted to practice law both in the Philippines and in the State of New York, USA. She serves as a director and corporate secretary of government owned or controlled corporations, privately owned companies and subsidiaries of multinational corporations doing business in the Philippines.

Romela Bengzon has significant practice in the areas of corporate and securities law. She represented clients in various mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures and project finance; and counseled investors in leveraged acquisitions.

Romela Bengzon is a professor at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and the De La Salle University Graduate School of Business and Far Eastern University Institute of Law. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree at the Ateneo de Manila University College of Law (Dean’s List) and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of the Philippines (with honors).

She has also assisted various international corporations in structuring full or partial equity participation in Philippine corporations as well as incorporation of foreign subsidiaries and representative offices in the Philippines.
